Brucite is the mineral form of magnesium hydroxide, with the chemical formula Mg(OH)2.It is widely used in the following industrial fields: 

1. Used as raw material for extracting Magnesium and Magnesium Oxide

2. Used to produce dead-burned magnesite/magnesia as high-grade the refractory material, and magnesia carbon brick for Black and non-ferrous metal metallurgy

3. Used to produce light calcined magnesia

4. Used to produce electrofused magnesia

5. Used to Chemical magnesium reagent such as MgCl2、MgSO4、Mg(NO3)2 and so on

6. Used to produce the fire retardant and also used in industrial wastewater treatment

7. Synthetic rubber and plastic additive

8. Fluxing agent and thermal insulation material

9. Mucilage glue, glass-ceramic production, ink and pigment, sculptures, and coating of electrodes 

10. In paper making industries
